Shari Ulrich - Long Nights - New LP - One of the great unheard albums of all time. Never released in the US, this was a bit of a hit in Canada. Shari's career started with the folky Pied Pumpkin, moved to the funky Hometown Band & then released this killer rock album in the early 80's. A very loose comparison could be made to Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac, except Shari's voice is much better. She's also an accomplished violin player. Includes the Canadian hit single Bad bad Girl, + Long Nights, Chameleon, Mysterious Child & more. I'm familiar with the A&M Canada release. This version is on Sloth Records out of vancouver BC. I don't know if it's the original, or a later reissue. If you're into vinyl & great well played pop/rock this comes highly recommended - it's one of my all time favorites. To the best of my knowledge it's never been released on cd. Sloth Canada 9046.
